Monday's Nature Quote

There is symbolic as well as actual beauty in the migration of the birds, the ebb and flow of the tides, the folded bud ready for the spring. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature--the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter.
~ Rachel Carson

  1. It's comforting that some things CAN be predicted. The sun will rise, even if we can't see it.

  2. All the while nature is effortlessly creating new symphonies it's intricate melodies are often imitated but never duplicated.

  3. Just yesterday I went out to refill the bird feeders and heard the sound, looked up to see a sky full of Sandhill Cranes on their journey north. They know when to go, and my heart was infinitely healed by their presence.
