Monday's Nature Quote

Forget that this task of planet-saving is not possible in the time required. Don’t be put off by people who know what is not possible. Do what needs to be done, and check to see if it was impossible only after you are done.

  1. Awesome photo!  OK.  I'll do what I can.  Maybe I can't save the whole planet, but I can help with a piece of it.  But no tree-huggong- ok?

  2. Even though I do think it is impossible to save the planet, not trying makes it even worse.

  3. Where DO you find these fabulous quotes?  This reminds me of one of Tolstoy's three questions and its answer.  What is the most important time?  Now!

  4. For many years now I've kept a notebook where I've written quotes that I didn't want to lose track of. It dawned on me that I could finally put them to use by putting them on this blog! (Now I have to go look up what Tolstoy's other 2 questions were!)

  5. Not sure I remember them right, but I think they are something like
Who is the most important one?  The one you're with.
What is the most important thing to do?  Whatever is good for the persons around you.
