Monday's Nature Quote

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into the trees. The winds will blow their freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.
--John Muir

  1. Coincidentally, I just happened to post about the last time I attempted climbing the mountains and getting their good tidings.  Sannasbagblogspot .com

  4. Hi Pat, thanks for the plug.  Isn't it strange we were all thinking about the mountain.  I wish I could capture the exhilaration as beautifully as John Muir.  I guess that's because my boots are talking too much.

  5. Lovely quote. Tried to leave a comment a week or two ago on the Alzheimer's piece you wrote about your dad - beautiful. My father suffered from somewhat early onset (early 60s diagnosis), was very tragic and difficult to witness. especially since his mother had the same thing so he knew the score. And now me and my siblings all watch for signs.
