Kidnapping the Lorax now available in paperback!

For those (like me) who don't have an e-reader, Kidnapping the Lorax is now available as a paperback through Amazon or Barnes and Noble. You should be able to walk into a Barnes and Noble and order from that particular store, as well.

How about you? Do you have an e-reader? If not, do you want one?

  1. I've thought about one, but there's something about actually holding a book, checking it out of the library...maybe from childhood? Plus I think with books it may be easier to find favorite passages or chapters than with an e-reader? Just a couple of thoughts! I want to read this book! :)

  2. Pat, this is good news indeed.  Will you be bringing copies to Chrysalis for hungry customers?  Put me down for one.

  4. Thanks Ranger Kim! As much as I love in-the-hand books, I've started jonesing for an e-reader. Imagine going on vacation, and having any number of books in one thin tablet.  I've had a chance to see those owned by friends..ooooh, ahhhhh...

  5. Funny you should ask---being a "booklover" of long tradition I've said I was philosophically opposed to e-readers---that I didn't want to be denied the pleasure of feeling  and watching my progress through the pages of a thick book---that I wanted to continue to support my beloved independent book selling establishments---that a true booklover could never become an e-readerlover---that it had no appeal for me---BUT--- ever since I got a tutorial session from the man who was reading from one in the airplane seat next to me, I've been secretly wishing to try one out---though I could never admit that to my book club  :-)  Congrats on KTL's paperbook status!

  8. Likewise. I was philosophically or maybe just emotionally opposed... until I actually saw how one worked...
